Who we are

This policy covers tinwren.com, the website of Tinwren (“Tinwren”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@tinwren.com. Each of our games has its own privacy policy, linked from inside the game and from its App Store page.

What we collect

Nothing personal. The website has no accounts, sign-up forms, comment boxes or newsletters, and it doesn’t ask you for any information.

Cookies, scripts and tracking

We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or other tracking. If our host needs to check that a visitor isn’t automated, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie, which isn’t used for tracking.

A few pages use a small script of our own for interactive details, such as the lights on the home page and the playable board on the Unlit page. These scripts run only in your browser. They store nothing on your device and send nothing anywhere. Everything on the site, including its fonts and scripts, is served from tinwren.com.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information that comes with every web request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time, so that it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare handles this information as described in its privacy policy. We don’t use it to identify you or to build a profile of you.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to help you. We don’t add you to a mailing list. We keep your messages only as long as we need them to help you, then delete them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Children’s privacy

This website is for a general audience. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you may have rights over your personal information, such as to access, correct or delete it, or to object to how it’s used.

Because this website doesn’t collect personal information, we usually hold nothing about you. If you’ve emailed us, you can ask for a copy of that correspondence or ask us to delete it. We don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top.
